These adapters allow the use of AN/Flare female hose ends on your typical O-Ring Air Conditioning fittings. This is what you'd usually need for running AN hoses on your A/C system rather than the typical rubber crimped hoses.
-6 AC line uses a 5/8" x 18 thread. -6 AN is 9/16-18 This is why we custom made -6 hose ends for our Superflex PTFE line specifically to use with our custom hose ends.
